May Events Recap

We had two great events last month (besides the Book Sale) and wanted to share photos with our community.

On May 16, we celebrated World Migratory Bird Day with local experts on the birds in our area: Carol Beidelman from Environment for the Americas; Bryan Bird, Director of Defenders of Wildlife; Jerry Cheney, Bird photographer; and Naima Shea to talk about the impact of pesticides on wildlife.

On May 30, we held our annual Kickoff Party for the Summer Reading Contest and Programs. We had dino treats, eggs to hatch, dino pets to adopt, and other activities. There was even a special appearance of a T-Rex.
