Volunteers are always needed!

As a Nonprofit 501C3, VGPL is an independent library with 40+ volunteers contributing 5,000+ hours annually in support of circulation, cataloging, inventory management, fundraisers, and various patron programs for all ages. Volunteer applications for Adult and Youth are located on our Library Forms page.

Become a Board Member or Serve on a Committee!

Your library is governed by a dedicated group of individuals who volunteer their time and expertise to ensure the library serves and supports Eldorado and the surrounding communities. We are looking for individuals who can bring new ideas and talents to help our library flourish and grow. If you're interested in becoming a board member or serving on one or more of our various committees ( e.g. Development, Art, Fundraising, Programs, Community Relations, Technology) and would like to learn more about this opportunity, please contact Martha Jackson at nominatingcommittee@vglibrary.org

Become a Business Partner!

Vista Grande Public Library is grateful for the support of many local businesses, whose contributions help the library provide programs and services to the area southeast of the City of Santa Fe. State and county grants help us with about 50 percent of our annual operating budget, but it is the assistance we receive from our Partnerships with businesses and donations to VGPL that make all the difference. For information on our current Business Partner Sponsors or how to become one, see our Business Partners page or contact Kris Sefton, Board President at vgpl.president@vglibrary.org

Join us in Creating Change!

While approximately 40% of the library's facility and financial support is provided by various government agencies, the remaining 60% of our annual operating budget depends upon the community's generous donations and fundraisers. Your donations support daily operations, library programs, collections, and special events and ensure our future.
