Book Donations Deadline
Please get your donations of books, CDs and DVDs for our coming book sale to us by Saturday, April 25. We will be unable to accept any donations after that date until the Spring Book Sale has ended. If you are not able to bring your items in by April 25, we will begin collecting donations for the next sale in the fall starting May 12. Also, please keep in mind that not all books or other items are useful to us. We take gently used, preferably like-new books, CDs and DVDs. We

Wags and Words - Read to a Dog
Roxie the Reading Dog would love more kids to read to her after school on Tuesdays. Contact Tracey at libasst@vglibrary.org or call for more information. This is a great program where your reluctant or struggling reader can come into the library and read aloud to a certified therapy dog. Participants become much more comfortable reading aloud with the support of a warm, fuzzy, non-judgmental listener.

Inclement Weather Closing Policies
Winter means the chance of unsafe weather and road conditions. Library staff value the safety of volunteers, staff and patrons, and sometimes will need to close during what would be normal service hours. EACA Makes Donation to VGPL
You may not know this, but the EACA (Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association) has always been a tremendous supporter of VGPL. For longer than the 12 years I’ve been here, a portion of the sales from the Studio Tour has been donated by the wonderful and caring artists to help fund the library.
