The library was a cool place to hang out during the hot summer months this year. In June we hosted Rock Time, where community members could come ask questions and learn from geologists and archaeologists. Welcome back, students and families! This Fall we are excited to be able to offer more options for our school-age community. Library Club (aka, Cat-in-the-Hat club) will be offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 3:05 to 4:30 pm. The dates are September 14 to November 18 and the club is for ages K to 3. VGPL has two art gallery spaces, the display case near the front door (for smaller items from watercolors to fiber arts to ceramics) and on the walls in the Fiction area.
