Summer Reading Contest for All Ages: June 1 to July 31 The end of the school year means it's time for the Summer Reading Contest and programs to begin! Dog Day(z) of Summer
Saturday, July 18, 1 to 3 pm Join us for our annual Dog Day of Summer, featuring dogs with jobs and pet adoptions. Come meet our doggie guests, learn about what they do, and get some pets in. VGPL’s 24th annual Spring Book Sale, held May 7-9, raised more than $10,000 for the library! We are once again taking donations of like-new or very gently used books, CDs and DVDs. Donations will be used to supplement our collection or sell for fund raising. If you have two bags or boxes of books or less, you can bring those during any open hours. EACA Makes Donation to VGPL
You may not know this, but the EACA (Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association) has always been a tremendous supporter of VGPL. For longer than the 12 years I’ve been here, a portion of the sales from the Studio Tour has been donated by the wonderful and caring artists to help fund the library.
