The Vista Grande Public Library provides a variety of programs for adults, families and children, all open to the public without charge.

Spring Book Sale! May 8-10, 2025. See our special program page for additional information.

Legal Resources for the Elderly Program (LREP) is holding a webinar on Tuesday, May 13 at 1pm. The webinar will cover Powers of Attorney, Advance Healthcare Directives, probate, non-probate transfers (including transfers on Death Deeds), and Institutional Medicaid. Climate Change and the Rule of Law, Tuesday, May 20, 7-9pm. Dan Galpern, General Counsel and Executive Director of the non-profit group Climate Protection and Restoration Initiative will address the subject.

Rock Time Archaeology and Anthropology, Saturday, May 31, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. "What kind of rock is this?" Bring it to the library and geologists will identify your rock and discuss local geology. Additionally, learn about ancestral civilizations from local archaeologists/anthropologists.

Summer Reading Program Kickoff Party, Saturday, May 31, Noon - 3:00pm. The 2025 theme of "Color our World" reading contest begins June 1 and runs through July 31 with prizes for all age groups.
