Programs

The Vista Grande Public Library provides a variety of programs for adults, families and children, all open to the public without charge.

June 2025 Events:

Medicare Information Session, Wednesday, June 18, 10AM. Discussion includes what paperwork is required for Medicare records, how to appeal a charge on your account, and ambulance services.

El Rancho de las Golondrinas Museum Presentation: Saturday, June 21, 1-2pm. El Rancho de las Golondrinas is the West’s premier living-history museum. Located in La Cienega, the museum provides visitors a peek back to the 17th and 18th century, via 34 buildings on 400 acres. Docents dressed in period clothes will provide a visual overview of the museum and its programs for children and adults.

​Culinary Herbs with Ken Bower, Saturday, June 28, 1PM. Ken Bower returns to VGPL to talk about how the climate of Santa Fe is conducive to growing many of the culinary herbs that give our food so much flavor. Join him for tips and information about how to grow and use many of the culinary hers in your own garden.

Family Movie Night, Friday, June 27, 6:30pm. We will be showing Dog Man (rated PG) in the meeting room. Free popcorn and admission.
