The annual October celebration happens on the Saturday before Oct. 31.

This year we are joining with the El Dorado Community School PTA for an extra fun event for all community families.

Books Come to Life Carnival

When: Saturday, Oct. 26, 3 to 6 pm

Where: Vista Grande Library & El Dorado Community School

What: Trunk or Treat; Costume Contest; Decorated Pumpkin Contest;

Food & beverages; games; crafts; giveaways; and more!

Everyone is encouraged to dress up as your favorite book character and join in the Costume Parade at 4:30 pm. Or, decorate a pumpkin based on a book and bring it before 4 pm. Or both!

​We are accepting donations of food or candy, and seeking volunteers. Contact Tracey if you are interested in helping!
