Medicare Information Session

Medicare Information Session: Friday, August 14, 10 to 11:30 am.  

This will be an information session for all people currently with Original Medicare AND those people turning 65 before the year ends.  Learn what changes are under discussion for 2027 and beyond (like 100% tariffs on imported generic drugs!) The impact of GPL drugs on Part D plans is another impact that is real for 2027.  Learn what you can do to lessen the impact of coming changes whether you are already on Original Medicare or signing up for the first time before the end of 2026. 

The session will be presented by Nancy Johnson, an 11 year certified Medicare Benefits Counselor with NM Aging Services and a Library volunteer.  Come bring questions and learn if answers are available now or how to prepare before you need to decide.
