What to know before you turn 65 in 2026
Come learn about what Medicare is and when you need to do what things so that you will not be penalized by additional costs, delayed timing or denials that may last for the rest of your life if you do not sign up on time.
A certified Medicare Benefits Counselor from the New Mexico Aging and Long-Term Services Dept. will be at the Vista Grande Public Library’s Meeting Room on Thursday, January 8 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM to answer questions and discuss how you can evaluate how to meet your needs for your Initial Enrollment and beyond. Learn what you may want (or need) to research before you make any decisions. This presentation is for people who will turn 65 in the first 6 months of 2026. We will briefly discuss Medicare Advantage plans (which are sold by for-profit companies)…
