World Migratory Bird Day
World Migratory Bird Day returned on Saturday, May 21. 1-3:30pm
We had a great event this year!
The national theme this year is: Dim The Lights for the Birds at Night
Featuring: Amy Gross on identifying local birds & where to look
Carol Beidleman on Bird-Banding.
New this year will be a Turkey Vulture,
Ms. Morris from the El Dorado Community School with Bird Origami.
Joe Newman on rodenticides and their impact on the ecosystem
Albert Shultz from the Santa Fe Stargazers on Dark Skies
We will also be offering bird-related crafts and give-aways. This is a family-friendly event with experiences to interest, inform and excite all ages.
