February/March Show
The Vista Grande Public Library (VGPL) will host Eldorado at Santa Fe artist Chris Cashiola. ”Nature All Around Us” features 10 oil on canvas pieces.
Cashiola is an Eldorado based painter who, after retiring from the practice of law and the US Army, has devoted the last 14 years to his painting. The exhibit features oil paintings that focus on color, with subdued and sometimes muted tones. The paintings represent simple scenes; mostly from Northern New Mexico and Sicily. “I do not paint “things”, I paint what I see. Simple subject’s best reflect the world around us.” Chris is a current member of the Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association and participates in EACA’s annual studio tour and the fall and winter Art shows. The VGPL virtual exhibition series is for the enjoyment of patrons and guests. Exhibition art will be on sale during the month, and available to the purchaser by contacting Chris at: ccashiola@gmail.com. The library will receive a sales commission benefiting operations and library programming.
