Adult Programs

The Vista Grande Public Library provides a variety of programs for adults, all of which are open to the public without charge.  Priority is given to programs that:

• promote reading, literacy, and the dissemination of information
• promote the appreciation of culture and the arts
• enhance cultural and leisure activities
• champion the principle of intellectual freedom
• inform the community about Library collections and services
• preserve and teach about local history and the environment
• cover issues of current local interest

Unless otherwise indicated, these events take place at the Library on Avenida Torreon.

The Library hosts a series of evening programs, many of which are author talks, providing the opportunity for readings, presentations, and discussion.  Some authors may participate with book sales and signings.
